In order to incentivize exchange of personal information which include your work experience and even connections, Dock is here to help! Founded back in 2017, it is a decentralized data exchange protocol and is created with the aim of disrupting centralized professional networks such as LinkedIn, Upwork, or Glassdoor. It provides user the ability to control their own data and share it across applications while staying boundless to a platform.

Dock is developed by Remote.com which was co-founded by Nick Macario who is also the co-founder of Dock. Remote is a platform that connects professionals with remote and freelance jobs using artificial intelligence, with over 2 million users. Dock recently raised $20 million in one of the most successful ICOs to-date.

Macario also founded branded.me in 2014, which he grew to 3 million users which was later acquired by Outsource.com in 2016.

Only signed and verified content will be a part of the Dock platform and users have the benefit of deciding where this data, and the data received in their name on other platforms are shared. Payment in the form of tokens is one of Dock’s features for applications to access data of other applications thus making it secure.

Dock is what you call the “App connector”. It connects various apps on its platform. Any type of data is transferred on Dock and you can keep it updated from time to time according to the recent developments.

The Dock protocol helps a third party application to receive push updates from a user about activity on another application, and send back its own updated state. These applications can also enjoy using business application data (task management, collaboration, file sharing) to assess individual work history and performance, and to create reputation scores, network centrality scores, performance reviews, or even get information on whether or not someone works at a specific company.

Macario believes in good partnerships and lending a helping hand to organizations and platforms in the Blockchain space. He had lent his crypto expertise to Solve.care as it continues to innovate in its own use of blockchain for healthcare department by reducing clinical and technology costs that decrease the affordability of services in the healthcare system.

Being a successful serial entrepreneur, Macario knows a good opportunity when he sees one. “I am really excited to join the Solve.Care team given their leading position in the healthcare blockchain space,” said Macario.
