2022’s Top 50 Colleges For Blockchain Technology
Will complete a ranking of the top 50 educational institutions with the most significant influence on blockchain in 2022. Following an analysis of each of the 240 schools based on a variety of metrics, including the number and impact of their published research, the number of courses, degree courses, conferences, clubs, and industry partnerships or scholarships, as well as where their graduates find employment and their reputation, the top 50 schools were ranked according to the following criteria.
Finally, it is fascinating to examine how one of the most conventional institutions for assessing professional achievement, the university, is adjusting to teach and research a disruptive emergent technology. Singapore has a population of 6 million in 2021 (comparable to Johannesburg) and a land area of only 283 square miles (733 square kilometers) and has two institutions in this year’s top 10. This outcome may be attributable to Singapore’s crypto-friendly regulatory framework (though that stance may change). However, it may also suggest something beneficial about the blockchain in general.
“In Africa, the absence of a generally accepted local currency and the volatile nature of individual currencies make commerce difficult, thus hindering economic growth”

“Singapore punches much above its weight on the international scene,” said MIT professor Reuben Youngblom, who assisted on the rankings’ methodology. “It’s a humorous remark on what blockchain is capable of, as an equalizer of sorts.” “At this stage in these rankings, anything as simple as adding one class might provide a substantial boost,” he added. It demonstrates how young this area is in schooling. “The addition of a degree program would have a significant influence.”
