• Chainlink tops DePIN social rankings with 15.2K posts and 3.6M interactions.
  • Bittensor and ICP follow, showing strong but lower community engagement levels.
  • Smaller projects like Grass and Dione gain traction with rising social activity.

Data compiled by Phoenix Group and LunarCrush showed that social activity among decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) projects has surged, with Chainlink (LINK) securing the lead position. The ranking was determined by the number of engaged posts and interactions across major platforms within 24 hours.

Chainlink Records Strong Community Engagement

Chainlink recorded 15,200 engaged posts and 3.6 million interactions, placing it ahead of other projects in the DePIN category. The figures show the scale of discussion surrounding the protocol, making it the highest-ranked project in terms of user participation and engagement.

The data showed a wide margin between Chainlink and the second-ranked project, Bittensor (TAO). Bittensor generated 9,700 posts and 876,800 interactions, securing the runner-up spot. While its interaction level was lower than LINK’s, it still reflected strong momentum within its ecosystem.

ICP, Arthera, and Other Projects Gain Visibility

The Internet Computer Protocol (ICP) was placed third with 4,200 engaged posts and 300,600 interactions. Its position reflected steady traction among participants despite lower figures compared to the top two projects.

Arthera (ATH) was another notable entry, recording 3,000 posts but achieving a comparatively higher 475,700 interactions. The numbers placed it among the stronger performers in terms of community response despite limited posting activity.

Additional projects also registered a presence in the rankings. ZBCN and Dione generated 2,400 and 2,300 engaged posts, respectively, while Render (RNDR), a decentralized GPU rendering platform, reported 2,100 posts and 270,300 interactions.

Smaller Networks Make the Cut

Beyond the larger players, several smaller DePIN projects were also included in the rankings. Grass, SC, and IO each recorded interactions ranging between 62,900 and 223,900, securing positions on the list despite lower posting activity compared to established projects. Their inclusion illustrated the expanding range of participation across different networks within the DePIN sector.

The figures highlight the variety of projects drawing attention in the decentralized infrastructure space. The spread of data across both established and emerging tokens showed that engagement is not limited to leading protocols.

Social Metrics Emerging as Key Indicators

The data also revealed a trend in how community activity is increasingly being tracked as an indicator of momentum. By measuring engaged posts and interactions, such as likes, comments, retweets, and upvotes, platforms provide a picture of how projects resonate with their user bases.

While Chainlink secured the largest share of engagement, the presence of emerging tokens such as Dione and Grass highlighted how newer entrants are also gaining traction through active participation. The October 1 snapshot provided a detailed account of which projects currently attract the most attention in the DePIN space.
