AdaSwap, a Cardano Blockchain development company, recently announced the completion of a $2.5 million funding round. When AdaSwap was founded to ” build” the first DeFi protocols operating on this blockchain, it drew a lot of interest from famous investors.

According to an official article, iAngels led the investment round with Shima Capital, Pluto Digital, GBV, Stardust, Efficient Frontier, Finova, Banter Capital, and COTI. Other investors who aren’t involved in the Cardano blockchain have also put money into the project.

According to the source, Gal Gadot, who is known for her portrayal of Wonder Woman in DC Comics and roles in films such as Justice League, Batman v. Superman, Fast & Furious, Cleopatra, and others, was a part of the financing round of Cardano blockchain.

The $2.5 million round also included Jaron Varsano, Gadot’s husband and a producer and performer in the Wonder Woman sequel. Gadot was welcomed into the “family” by Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano and CEO of Input-Output Global. On his Twitter account, Hoskinson made the following remark.

According to the statement, AdaSwap, a Cardano Blockchain company, wants to use the funds to “deliver on its goal of establishing the best-decentralized exchange on Cardano.” To complement the DEX, other AdaSwap products, such as a native NFT marketplace, will be developed on this ecosystem.

The project also aims to provide ADA users with a decentralized exchange platform for native tokens. As a result, they claim to be working on a gamified Cardano blockchain that will enable users to trade native tokens on the network. The authors of the initiative went on to say:

It also plans to create a Cardano-native NFT marketplace and decentralized finance features such as staking and fixed, long-term, and high-yield liquidity pools. These applications will allow DEX users to stake tokens, buy and sell NFTs, and earn their Cardano blockchain tokens.
