- Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana dominate Layer-1 social media engagement.
- Cardano, BNB, and Sui sustain steady mid-tier blockchain community activity.
- Hyperliquid, Tao, Kaspa, and Cronos gain traction despite smaller scale.
On September 28, 2025, Phoenix Group and LunarCrush released fresh data ranking the most active Layer-1 blockchain projects based on social media activity. The report measured engaged posts and total interactions recorded within a 24-hour period.

Engaged posts reflect the number of social media entries that drew responses, while interactions include likes, comments, retweets, and upvotes. The results showed the dominance of established leaders but also pointed to the growing traction of emerging platforms across digital communities.
Leading Layer-1 Blockchain Projects Secure the Top Spots
Among all Layer-1 blockchain projects, Bitcoin maintained a dominant position. It recorded 202,900 engaged posts alongside 54.4 million interactions, far ahead of other competitors. Ethereum followed in second place with 129,600 engaged posts and 21.4 million interactions.

Solana ranked third, generating 117,800 engaged posts and 18.4 million interactions. These figures highlighted the sustained dominance of the three networks, which collectively drew the highest levels of community participation.
Mid-Tier Projects Hold Ground
The next group included Cardano, Binance Smart Chain (BNB), and Sui. Cardano logged 22,000 engaged posts and 1.6 million interactions. BNB followed with 14,300 posts and 1.5 million interactions, while Sui produced 13,400 posts supported by 1.1 million interactions. Although far below the leaders, these networks continued to register steady digital activity, reflecting the consistency of their user bases in sustaining online discussions.
Several smaller Layer-1 blockchain projects showed competitive results. Hyperliquid (HYPE) stood out with 12,000 engaged posts but attracted 1.7 million interactions, surpassing Sui in overall interaction count despite a lower posting volume.
Tao generated 10,500 engaged posts and 709,500 interactions. Kaspa (KAS) logged 10,000 posts and 1.1 million interactions, while Cronos (CRO) matched Kaspa in post numbers but outperformed it with 1.3 million interactions. These outcomes suggested that even emerging platforms are gaining meaningful visibility in broader discussions.
The latest ranking of Layer-1 blockchain projects pointed to a competitive social environment. The three largest networks, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, retained dominance in both engaged posts and total interactions.
Mid-tier projects such as Cardano, BNB, and Sui displayed moderate but consistent participation. Meanwhile, Hyperliquid, Tao, Kaspa, and Cronos added depth to the scene, showing that smaller projects are establishing out a presence despite limited scale.
