Cryptocurrency is not only a platform where the average person can earn money these days. It is proving to be a hub where even the rich can make more money. Athletes are now jumping on the crypto bandwagon and forging a partnership with purposeful crypto platforms. The latest star to join the train is 33-year-old Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry who recently became an ambassador for crypto exchange firm FTX.

FTX is leading the path for worldwide cryptocurrency adoption, and its latest partnership with MLB Players Association mirrors their ambitious drive. FTX is one of the busiest cryptocurrency exchange groups globally and is currently on a mission to see that the digital economy becomes the world’s order.

Crypto sponsorship has proven to be the only way for cryptocurrency to spread into different industries. Undoubtedly, the sporting world-embracing cryptocurrency will be a massive win for the crypto community. Sports has billions of fans, and multiple endorsement deals that account for billions of dollars in years. FTX has been on a crusade of pushing the crypto agenda anywhere and everywhere with potential, and through FTX sponsorship deals, this schedule seems achievable.

Partnership with MLB

The partnership between FTX and MLB players Association is remarkable for both parties. This would be the first time a North American top sports league has allied with any crypto exchange. In addition, this crypto sponsorship deal makes FTX the official crypto exchange brand of Major League Basketball.

The partnership gives FTX the right to use players’ highlights in their content without fear of legal backlashes. In addition, FTX’s logo will be worn by umpires during games, and FTX will be advertised nationally during games and on all platforms of the MLB.

A few weeks after, a new FTX partner was announced; TSM, an e-sporting organization. The deal was worth over two hundred million dollars. In addition, FTX secured another crypto sponsorship deal worth over $135 million, leading to the Miami Heat’s arena being renamed FTX Arena from next season.

Curry on the Train

The two-time NBA MVP is the latest sports superstar to throw his weight behind FTX. The 33-year-old  recently indicated an interest in getting started with cryptocurrency, and in a flash, fans were surprised to see him named as a new global ambassador and shareholder of FTX.

A tweet shared by FTX showed the NBA star boy describing his happiness with the new deal. Crypto influencer Joe Pompliano also announced that Curry would receive an equity stake in the company as a part of the deal. The FTX sponsorship deal with Curry will see his charity receive an annual contribution from FTX to represent their interests with his star power. The agreement is beyond a win-win situation.

FTX will be perceived as a significant brand in the sporting world, and more endorsements, partnerships, and subscriptions will be expected in the coming days. In addition, the cryptocurrency adoption championed by FTX will most certainly lead to an explosion in the awareness of what crypto is about, and more people will be looking forward to earning from it.
