It is trendy to invest in NFT right now. Trends always come with a note of excitement. This is what makes them so exciting.

At the beginning of the year, the NFT direction was the last thing on the minds of the crypto community. Monthly trading volumes were only a few million dollars. February was a month of change, and sales jumped to $100+ million, then surpassed the $300 million mark in July and peaked at $10 billion at the end of 2021 third quarter.

For many people who have watched this frenzy leaps occurring at OpenSea, the dominant NFT marketplace, it was logical to conclude that NFT is the new buzzword today!

Amid the market’s bullish behavior, the time for dragons – NFT dragons comes. The new NFT dragon Metaverse has gathered a lot of conversation over the past few weeks, so I’ve decided to “meet” the team and learn more about the project.

Why CryptoDragons? How did you come up with the name?

“We have nhave already known each other (with other co-founders) for a long time and have worked together on various IT projects. The NFT boom at the start of 2021 was something we were fascinated about, and we noticed that something was missing. This gap of technology meeting the art motivated us to create our own NFT where the project with strong technology can shape the market’s future. We are all dragon lovers so the choice was obvious”,- says Nari, Co-founder and CEO of CryptoDragons.

How did the process of creating the dragon illustration happen?

When we finalized the idea of making NTFS in the form of dragons, we decided that our dragons’ illustrations should be of the highest quality on the Internet today. We’ve realized that implementing pictures in the highest possible resolution format was required; we wanted to get the top quality. This complicated the process, but in the end, we tried, and it worked. The fact that each dragon consists of 12,000 attributes, polygon layers, and vector patterns, using the linear, radial-gradient, and of course, blur functions for more realism.

You can see the result! This is an authentic artwork, which is thought out from the design and technical perspectives. I am proud of the art and the impact that I would have bought myself,- says Alex, the project designer.

What is the project about? Tell us about the platform in a nutshell.

“In a nutshell, CryptoDragons is the NTF Dragons’ Metaverse, where you can collect, breed, fight, and also earn on NTF dragons. The platform has the special Legendary type of dragons owners of which will constantly receive 50% of the platform’s breeding commissions. CryptoDragons is a platform where you can earn simply by holding a unique NTF”, – the team states.

How will the minting process be done?

“The whole CryptoDragons Metaverse will start from a special and limited collection of 10K NFT Eggs, where the Common, Epic, and Legendary dragons will be waiting to be born and start the Metaverse. Before hatching a Dragon Egg, the minting process should be done. Here we made the process as comfortable as possible for our community. To ensure a “quiet” sale and subsequent mint, we have developed a process of “Egg Reservation.” A reservation is a simple transaction from a user, not a mint. We’ll record the wallet’s public address in the smart contract itself in an impressive array of reserves. Once the reservations have been completed, those recorded wallets can hold a rally any time.

Moreover, after hatching, all Egg holders will have two NFTs instead of one – an Eggshell and the Dragon itself”,- concludes Nari.

Cool, and what are the plans for the future? I mean, what development path did you choose for your project?

“I don’t want to get ahead of it, but our immediate plans are to switch to Layer2 and develop a full-fledged platform where all NFTs involved in the project, including the Eggshells, will be used. But this is just one of our intentions. Everything else will be available soon,- says Nari.
